She serves as a Preceptor to Nurse Practitioners, PA, medical students, and residents. She volunteers for local nonprofit organizations and helps conduct a Monthly Walk with a Doc in the community and coordinates the annual Life and Soul Health Fair which offers free screenings and immunizations to the community. Recently for her contributions to a ‘healthier community’, she was conferred a ‘Health Hero’ award by the Texas Medical Association.
When Dr. Nair isn’t at the clinic, she’s usually busy cooking for her hungry college kid or having good laughs with her husband. She also loves to actively volunteer at local nonprofit organizations. Whether it be teaching value based heritage classes for children or running meditation workshops, you’ll always find her doing it with a smile. Being a mother of two has taught her many things, one of which being that the house will never be clean. Yet, in her few spare moments she tries to make the best of it by going around on a cleaning spree, with some vintage classics playing on her Google Home, and a creamy coffee in her hand. She is so grateful for her family and her clinic family that she couldn’t ask for anything better. She can say for certain that she loves what she does every day and always looks forward to serving her community.
